Manage your Subscription
1) Log into your account (» Log Into COBirds )
2) Enter your email address and password. If you forgot your password e-mail the administrator.
3) Click on the blue tab that says "My Account."
4) Change or make your subscription selections here.
5) Make sure to click on "save changes" before you exit this page.

COBirds is available as regular delivery and digest. There are three options for digest delivery:

1) Digest: You will receive one e-mail with all the messages from the day in the body of the message. You have to scroll through all of the text in order to read each message. The major drawback to this method is that if a subscriber uses HTML formatting (or Rich Text) to compose their message it will come across as HTML language (junk) in the digest. This makes your digest message long, unwieldy and difficult to read.
2) Index: You will receive a daily index of the messages sent to the list. The disadvantage to this method is that you have to send an e-mail command to Lyris to download the messages that you want to read.
3) MIME: Once daily you receive a message with all of posts from the day included as attachments. You double click on the digest to see the attached messages and then you open each attachment to read each particular message. There are a couple of advantages to this method. First, you know that all of the attachments are safe because they have already come through the list(no possibility of viruses). Second, you have the ability to read only the messages that are of interest to you without having to scroll through all of them. Third, messages retain their formatting so there is not HTML language to add clutter to your digest.
